What We Are Building
Our work
An initiating team, growing into a landscape group.
Regenerate Vashon began as an initiating team in November 2025 and is now about eight stewards. We are just starting out, and that is the point: hosting conversations, potlucks, and the first gatherings of a whole-island effort.
Our vision
The island seen whole.
Everywhere we look, people and organizations are already doing the work. Our task is to help the island see itself as one system, so we can visualize, connect, and support what is already alive here.
This year
A bioregional mapping workshop.
Our primary goal this fall is to convene an in-person bioregional mapping workshop with our community, making the island's existing web of care visible to itself. Flow-funding and micro-grant pilots follow in 2027.
Our unique role
We do not replace the work. We weave it together.
Vashon already knows how to show up. Regenerate Vashon grows the relationships, trust, and social infrastructure the island needs to make shared decisions, set priorities, and move resources as part of a coherent plan.
